Dr. Servy has 30 years of experience in endoscopy (e.g., laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
Although his medical practice has mainly focused on Reproductive Endocrinology (infertility, hormone evaluation and treatment), he also created the Augusta Reproductive Biology Association with a successful lab for Assisted Reproductive Technology. The lab introduced and pioneered new technologies such as the first intrauterine insemination in the U.S. (1978) as well as the first U.S. In-Vitro Fertilization-Embryo Transfer at Blastocyst Stage (1989). It was the first in the world to obtain a live birth after cryopreservation at the blastocyst stage following intracytoplasmic sperm injection.
